Doric Company HistoryDoric Products was founded by a group of independent and well established burial vault manufacturers who formed an alliance in 1955. The result of this combined effort was the design and production of a new and better concrete burial vault. The first Doric vault was fiberglass lined. Eighty-six vaults were sold that first year. Today, Doric is a leading manufacturer of burial vaults, cremation urns, urn vaults and infant casket/vault combination units.Doric manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada produce concrete burial vaults lined with Lustra-Tech®, Fiberlon® and Durapreme® plastics and high-grade metals. Doric is also a leading manufacturer in cremation urn vaults. Bruns-Doric is one of more than 100 Doric burial vault dealers in the U.S. and Canada. The vault manufacturing plants of Bruns-Doric Vault Company, Inc. has been independently inspected and certified by a field inspector of the National Concrete Burial Vault Association. This certification insures consistent quality products manufactured to meet or exceed industry standards. Doric is a member of the National Concrete Burial Vault Association and its members have served that organization in roles from District Representative to the president of the organization. Doric is also a supplier member of the National Funeral Directors Association, International Cemetery and Funeral Association, National Catholic Cemeteries Association, The Cremation Association of North America and Casket and Funeral Supply Association. Members of the Doric network also serve the Funeral and Memorial Information Council (FAMIC).
